She suggests she keeps her favorite city alive: “Up late I’m the one/I’m from New York.”

Harlem-based “femcee” Azealia Banks makes her borough the backdrop for her latest music video, “Luxury,” a house-infused pop rap jam from her mixtape Fantasea. The beat drop in “Luxury” is a far cry from her first hit, “212,” but the black-and-white style of the music video harkens back to it. The self-proclaimed “aquababe” dances on rooftops and struts through NYC as if she owns it.

The lyrics are sexy and sultry, which is to be expected from someone who chooses a topless mermaid as her mixtape cover. The beat sounds fresh off of a high-fashion catwalk, much like Banks’ dynamic modelesque presence. The song is confident, fresh, and ready for a nightclub remix—definitely another classic from Banks.
