The “Sexy and I Know It” crew is hitting the pause button.

Party Rocking duo LMFAO has decided to go on hiatus after working together for six years. The electropop group consisting of Redfoo and SkyBlu is taking a break.

LMFAO has come a long way since first releasing its smash “I’m In Miami Bitch” back in December of 2008. In 2010, LMFAO’s album Party Rock received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album. Lastly, “Party Rock Anthem” stole the number one slot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks.

Although the two are splitting, Redfoo will continue to shuffle on all by himself. Redfoo demonstrated he’s still got “passion in his pants and he ain’t afraid to show it” while performing with the Fab Five on their Kellog’s USA Gymnastics tour. He’s also working on a tennis clothing line, which isn’t random at all. He will be sticking to his roots, though, and continue to work on solo music that he claims will still resemble LMFAO’s sound.

SkyBlu on the other hand recently collaborated with Ms. Call Me Maybe, Carly Rae Jepsen, on her single “This Kiss.” SkyBlu also worked with YouTube sensation and Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande on her not-yet-released song “Do You Love Me,” which will be featured on Grande’s upcoming album.

But the two funky haired men will always remain close, we’ll assume, since Redfoo is SkyBlu’s uncle, and the last thing we’d want is for family dinner to be awkward.
