A collaboration with on his new track brings pop stardom back to Britney Spears.

Locked in at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Singles chart is’s “Scream and Shout” featuring Britney Spears, which catapults the 31-year-old former Mouseketeer back into the pop realm. This techno hit comes from’s fourth studio album #willpower, set to debut Feb. 4, 2013. is saying adios to his main girl Fergie from his group the Black Eyed Peas on this new club-banger; Britney’s stealing the show, bitch. Spears is just one of the many popular artists who collaborated with on his upcoming release. Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, and David Guetta also chipped in.

“Scream and Shout” is a tune destined to be blasted on the club scene. Spears in a faux British accent declares, “When you hear this in the club, you gotta turn this shit up.” And even pleases Brit Brit’s fanbase by sampling the famous line “It’s Britney, Bitch” from her 2007 song “Gimme More.”

The notable female singing sensation, who reigned over the pop kingdom in her glory days, turned 31 on Sunday. But do not fret, Spears looks just shy of 25 in the music video for “Scream and Shout,” which debuted on the X Factor on Nov. 28th. In the video, her killer body is put on display. Wearing a slick ass-hugging black skirt and sexy midriff-revealing top, Britney shows that she’s still got it.

For some reason, Britney seemed rather abashed after the unveiling of the video, which was directed by Ben Mor (Katy Perry’s “Part of Me,” Black Eyed Peas’ “Meet Me Halfway”). Despite her shyness, the debut of “Scream and Shout” marks Britney’s resurgence in the pop realm. And just admit it, you missed the crazed pop-singer stealing the scene.

When Britney blew out the 31 candles on her cake this past Sunday, she was probably wishing for her success in 2012 to carry over into the new year. This year, Britney made her way onto television screens as a judge on the X Factor, which scored her a $15 million dollar deal seating her on the judge panel next to Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid, and Simon Cowell. Spears was also taken off the market in 2012, spending her year engaged to Jason Trawick, who started off as her agent and co-starred in her “Criminal” music video. And to top it off, she’s Hollywood’s seventh highest-paid musician.

So yes, Britney’s back and her rejuvenated image is showing her resistance to crumble again. No more meltdowns á la 2008, please Britney… we like you with a full head of hair.

“She’s so lucky, she’s a star”… again.
